First, we need to know that to calculate pH or pOH we can use the following formulas:

pH = -log[H+]

pOH = -log[OH-]

And, also, pH + pOH = 14

So if we know the pOH of a solution, easily we can know the pH of it.

To solve this question we will:

Step 1 - Calculate the pOH using pOH = -log[OH-]

Step 2 - calculate the pH using pH + pOH = 14

Step 1:

pOH = - log 2.6 x 10^-7

pOH = - log 2.6 + 7

pOH = 6.59

Step 2:

pH + pOH = 14

pH + 6.59 = 14

pH = 14 - 6.59

pH = 7.41

Answer: The pH of this solution is 7.41.
