S=(-1,3)

1) Given those two equations let's set a Linear System and then solve them.

x+y=2

y=2x+5

2) Let's use the Substitution Method, on the first equation.

x+(2x+5)=2

x +2x +5 = 2

3x +5=2

3x=-5+2

3x=-3

x=-1

2.2) Now let's plug that into the 2nd equation:

y=2x+5

y=2(-1)+5

y=-2+5

y= 3

3) Hence, the solution is S=(-1,3)
