We have the following formula for the volume of a cylinder:

V=\pi\cdot r^2\cdot h

in this case, we have the following information:

\begin{gathered} V=7959.9in^3 \\ \pi=3.14 \\ h=15in \end{gathered}

using these values on the formula, we get:

7959.9=(3.14)\cdot r^2\cdot(15)

solving for 'r', we have the following:

\begin{gathered} (3.14)\cdot r^2\cdot(15)=7959.9 \\ \Rightarrow r^2=(7959.9)/((3.14)(15))=169 \\ \Rightarrow r=\sqrt[]{169}=13 \\ r=13 \end{gathered}

therefore, the radius of the cylinder is r = 13 in
