we have that

the area of triangle is equal to

A=(1)/(2)\cdot b\cdot h

we have

b=4 ft

h=10 ft

If you double the base and height

so

b=2*4=8 ft

h=2*10=20 ft

the area is equal to

A=(1/2)*(8)*(20)

A=80 ft2

area is 80 square feet
