The factored form of a quadratic equation is


\begin{gathered} f(x)=a(x-c_1)(x-c_2) \\ a\rightarrow\text{ constant} \\ c_1,c_2\rightarrow\text{ roots} \end{gathered}

Therefore, in our case,


\Rightarrow f(x)=(x+4)(x-6)

Notice that no information about constant a is provided by the question,


\Rightarrow f(x)=(x+4)(x-6)=x^2-2x-24

The standard form of the quadratic function is x^2-2x-24
