We are looking at the interval that includes 11 units from number 1. We are considering the number line going to the left and going to the right. If we look at 11 units going to the left of number 1, we are ending up at -10. If we look at 11 units going to the right of number 1, we are ending up to 12. Hence, we are looking at the interval from -10 up to 12. This interval is mathematically described as
