Chemoaotrophs are organisms that obtain energy from inorganic molecules, they are able to use chemicals that are good electron donors, such as hydrogen, sulfur, or iron.

Heterotrophs are organisms that obtain energy from other organisms, i.e. they are organisms that eat plants or animals to live.

Photoautotrophs are organisms that obtain energy from light, these organisms are also called photosynthetic organisms.
