From the diagram, the vertices of the triangle are at:

(-4, 2), (-4, -3) and (1, -3)

If we transform it under the transformation rule: (x, y) → (x + 3, y)

The vertices of the image will be:


\begin{gathered} (-4,2)\rightarrow(-4+3,2)=(-1,2) \\ (-4,-3)\rightarrow(-4+3,-3)=(-1,-3) \\ (1,-3)\rightarrow(1+3,-3)=(4,-3) \end{gathered}

We then plot the points of the image on the graph below:

Since the size of the shape does not change, it is a rigid motion.
