When a point is represented in cartesian coordinates it has two numbers which are used to identify its location. The first one is a number that represents its position on the "x" axis, which is an horizontal axis, while the second one is a number that represents its position on the "y" axis which is an vertical axis. The x axis grows from the left to right, while the y axis grows from down to up.

With this in mind if we go right 4 units we are increasing the point's coordinate on the "x" axis and if we go up 2 units we are increasing the point's coordinates on the "y" axis. So the new point will be:

(-4\text{ + 4, 8 + 2) = (0,10)}

The image of the point is in (0.10).
