the probability that a computer chip is defective is 0.80 if I select 10 chips at random what is the probability that at least 8 of them are defectiveif I select 100 chips of the chips at random what is the probability that at least 80 of them are defective.

Probability P= 0.80 = 8/10

what is probability of 8 defective

Then P = 8/10•10/8 = 1

For 100 chips, probability of 80 defective

P = 8/10• 100/800= 1

In both cases, probability is 1, or 100% sure.
