Let x be the volume of the bigger one

5 : 8 = 875 : x

(5)/(8)=(875)/(x)

cross-multiply

5x = 875(8)

5x = 7000

Divide both-side by 5

x= 1400

The volume of the larger figure is 1400 mm³
