Mom was taking Aiden to fun zone next weekend. To bowl he needed $12, lunch would be $8, and arcade games would cost $10. He spent the week doing chores and earned $5 for doing the dishes, $2 for vacuuming, $3 for taking out the trash, and $6 for mowing the lawn. How much more money does he need to earn to be able to do all the things he is planning? * O $29 O $38 O $16 O $54

First, add all the prices of the things that Aiden wants to buy to find how much money will be needed. Then, add all the earnings and substract the total amount of earnings from the amount of money that he needs to find how much more money he needs to earn.

The total cost of the things he wants to buy, is:

12+8+10=30

The total earnings are:

5+2+3+6=16

The dfference from the money that hee needs minus the money that he has, is:

30-16=14

Therefore, he needs to earn $14 more to do all the things he is planning.
