The slope-intercept form of a line is:

y = mx + b

where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept

The slope of the line that passes through the points (x1, y1) and (x2, y2) is computed as follows:

m=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)

From the graph, the line passes through the points (0, 8) and (3, 3), then its slope is:

m=(3-8)/(3-0)=-(5)/(3)

From the graph, the line intersects the y-axis at (0,8), then b = 8.

Finally, the equation is:

y=-(5)/(3)x+8
