Graph the functions as transformations of f(x)=x^2.Arrange the parabolas with respect to the position of their vertices from left to right. y=f(x)y=f(x-4)y=f(x+3)y=f(x-7)y=f(x+2)y=f(x-1/2)

For this case we have the following function given:

y=x^2

We want to arrange the parabolas respect to their vertices from the left to the right so for this case we can use the following image

We can also remember that any transformation y=f(x-k) move the function k units to the right and y= f(x+k) move the function k units to the left. Based on this the solution from the left to the right is:

f(x+3)> f(x+2)>f(x)>f(x- 1/2) >f(x-4) >f(x-7)
