So my equation is y=1/3 times 2 to the power of x we have to make a table and graph it.

We are given


y=(1)/(3)*2^x

We want to find make table and graph

(a). To make table, We take


-3\leq x\leq3
\begin{gathered} \text{when x = -3} \\ y=(1)/(3)(2^(-3))=(1)/(24)=0.042 \\ \text{when x = -2} \\ y=(1)/(3)(2^(-2))=(1)/(12)=0.083 \end{gathered}

Similarly, we find the values for the remaining values of x


\begin{gathered} \text{when x = }-1,\text{ y = 0.167} \\ \text{when x = 0, y =}(1)/(3) \\ \text{when x= 1, y = }(2)/(3) \\ \text{when x = 2, y =}(4)/(3) \\ \text{when x = 3, y=}(8)/(3) \end{gathered}
