From the figure, the diameter of the cone is 2in, the height of the cone is 5in,

and the value of pi is 3.


ie)\pi=3

To find the volume of the cone.

Now,

The volume of the cone is given by,


V=(1)/(3)\pi r^2h

Since r=d/2=2/2=1in, h=5in.

Then,


\begin{gathered} V=(1)/(3)*3*1^2*5 \\ =1*5 \\ =5in^3 \end{gathered}

Hence, the volume of the cone is 5in^3.
