From the triangle inequality theorem, we know that the sum of the lengths of any two sides od a triangle is greater than the length of the third side. In our case, this means that


\begin{gathered} 11+19>x \\ 11+x>19 \\ \text{and} \\ 19+x>11 \end{gathered}

we can put these results as follows

[tex]\begin{gathered} 19-11therefore, the answer is[tex]8
