The line y= -5 has a slope of zero because it is a horizontal line.

A line parallel to this line will also have a gradient of zero.

This means the other line will be a hirizontal line too.

This means it can be ;

y = - 4 , y = -2 , y = 4 , y = 7 ----------because all these equations will give a horizontal line with a slope of zero

So the general form of the equation will be ;

y = { y∈ R}

This statement means the value of y will range from negative infinity to positive infinity values of y.

Answer

y = { y∈ R}
