Two angles are complementary when they add up to 90 degrees (a Right Angle).

That means that if two angles, A° and B°, are complementary, they add up to 90°:

A^(\circ)+B^(\circ)=90^(\circ)

Therefore, if we have one angle as 72.3°, the complement will be calculated as

\begin{gathered} 90-72.3 \\ =17.7\degree \end{gathered}

The complement of 72.3° is 17.7°.
