Inequalities

x - 4y =< 4 ------ (1)

y < x + 1 ----- (2)

Express the inequalites as equations

x - 4y = 4 -4y = -x + 4

y = -x/-4 + 4/-4

y = x/4 - 4

y = x + 1

Turn the equation into inequalities

y >= x/4 - 4

y < x + 1

The is the graph

The upper line is dotted, and the lower line is continous.

I can not distinguish the graphs, but the solution is the first graph.
