-2x+3 = 10 2x-3 = 10

-3 -3 +3 +3

------------------ -----------------

-2x = 7 2x = 13

x =
(7)/(2) x =
(13)/(2)

x = 3.5 x = 6.5

As we can see, these equations are not the same, because, when we set them equal to the same value, the answers are different.
