Solution:

Given:

Let x represent the number.

\begin{gathered} S\text{ix times a number means }6x \\ T\text{hree times a number means }3x \\ Seven\text{ more than three times a number }3x+7 \\ \\ Hence,\text{ the difference between six times a number and seven more than three times the number means} \\ =6x-(3x+7) \end{gathered}

Therefore, the algebraic expression is 6x - (3x + 7)

The simplified expression is;

\begin{gathered} 6x-(3x+7) \\ =6x-3x-7 \\ =3x-7 \end{gathered}

Therefore, the simplified expression is 3x - 7
