Given:

Diameter of the base 4 cm

Height of cone 6 cm

Find-:

The volume of a cone.

Explanation-:

Volume of cone is:

V=(1)/(3)\pi r^2h

Where,

\begin{gathered} V=\text{ Volume} \\ \\ r=\text{ Radius} \\ \\ h=\text{ Height} \end{gathered}

Diameter is 4 cm then the radius is:

\begin{gathered} r=(D)/(2) \\ \\ r=(4)/(2) \\ \\ r=2\text{ cm} \end{gathered}

So, the volume of a cone is:

\begin{gathered} V=(1)/(3)\pi r^2h \\ \\ V=(1)/(3)*\pi*(2)^2*6 \\ \\ V=(1)/(3)*\pi*4*6 \\ \\ V=\pi*4*2 \\ \\ V=8\pi \\ \\ V=8*3.14 \\ \\ V=25.12\text{ cm}^3 \end{gathered}

The volume of a cone is 25.12 cm³
