Given the two angles (x) and (180-2y) form a supplementry pair.

Therefore,

\begin{gathered} (x)+(180-2y)=180 \\ x-2y=180-180 \\ x-2y=0 \\ x=2y \\ y=(1)/(2)x \end{gathered}

Hence, we can say that, y is half of x.
