It can be observed that function tens to infinity for x = -2 and y = 5. So asymptote exist at x = -2 and y = 5.

(c)

The parent function f(x) = 1/x has asyptote at x = 0 and y = 0, but the drawn function has asymptote at x = -2 and at y = 5.

Tis means there is horizontal and vertical shift in the graph of parent function f(x).

The parent function is shifted 2 units left and 5 unit upwards. So equation of graph shown is,


y=(1)/(x+2)+5
