1.) There would be an effect on the tides. For example El Niño and La Niña are lunar tidal phenomenon that is partially caused by the moon. Tides would be nearly 2/3 shorter.
2.) The earth would rotate about 3 times faster.
3.) With no moon, the tilt of the Earth’s axis which would cause a large shift in seasons and weather.
4.) There would be no lunar eclipses.
5.) The moon provides a lot of light at night, so if there was no moon, the nights would be extremely dark.
6.) Days would also be much shorter.

The moon influences life as we know it on Earth. It influences our oceans, weather, and the hours in our days. Without the moon, tides would fall, nights would be darker, seasons would change, and the length of our days would alter.
