Function B equation is

y=2x-5

The y-intercept is when x=0, in our case

Function A

y=(1)/(4)(0)+3=3

y-intercept =3

Function B

y=2x-5
y=2(0)-5=-5

y-intercept=-5

As we can see

The y-intercept of Function A is greater than the y-intercept of Function B.
