Given the function:


f(x)=2-\sqrt[]{x+6}

First, complete the table:


\begin{gathered} \text{When x=-6} \\ f(-6)=2-\sqrt[]{-6+6}=2 \\ \\ \text{When x=-2} \\ \text{ }f(-2)=2-\sqrt[]{-2+6} \\ =2-\sqrt[]{4} \\ =2-2 \\ =0 \end{gathered}

Finally:


\begin{gathered} \text{When x=3} \\ \text{ }f(3)=2-\sqrt[]{3+6} \\ =2-\sqrt[]{9} \\ =2-3 \\ =-1 \end{gathered}
