Rewrite the equation in slope- intercept form.

3(y-1) = 2x + 2

Use the distributive property

3y-3 = 2x + 2

Add 3 to both sides

3y = 2x + 5

Divide both sides by 3

Y = 2/3x + 5/3

Slope = 2/3
