Find an expression which represents the sum of (-X – 7) and (-9x + 6) insimplest terms.

Let's sum the given expressions.


(-x-7)+(-9x+6)

We have to reduce like terms. -x and -9x are like terms. -7 and 6 are like terms.


-x-9x-7+6=-10x-1

Therefore, the simplest expression is -10x - 1.
