• Measurement of the angle of inclination of the ramp
• Measurement of the time taken by the marble to roll down the ramp
Factors that could cause the students collected data to have uncertainty or error in the measurement in the procedures described above are:
• Error due to parallax:, This is as a result of not properly focusing on the measuring device, thereby recording wrong values of the data measured
• Improper calibration, ,of measuring devices used:, This may be as a result of the calibration not starting from the zero point
• Incorrect recording, of measurements
• Changes in environmental condition,, such as temperature, may affect the accuracy of the measuring devices
