ABO blood types are based on the types of antigens on carried on the surface of red blood cells. Rhesus (Rh) factor is a different inherited protein found on the surface of red blood cells. If your red blood cells have the Rh protein, you're Rh positive (+). If your red blood cells lack the protein, you're Rh negative (-). The + phenotype is dominant to the - phenotype, and the Rh blood factor locus is inherited independently of the ABO locus. If a child is born from a parent with a blood type AB- and another parent with a blood type O+, which of the following phenotypes are possible? Check all that apply.
