First, notice that the two sides of the right triangle are equal, then, using the pythagorean theorem,we get:


\begin{gathered} 6=\sqrt[]{x^2+x^2}=\sqrt[]{2x^2} \\ \Rightarrow\sqrt[]{2}x=6 \\ \Rightarrow x=\frac{6}{\sqrt[]{2}}\cdot(\frac{\sqrt[]{2}}{\sqrt[]{2}})=\frac{6\sqrt[]{2}}{2}=3\sqrt[]{2}_{} \\ x=3\sqrt[]{2} \end{gathered}

therefore, x = 3*sqrt(2)
