Explanation:

Double the second equation to give you:

-2x+2y=2

Now we add the 2 equations to eliminate the y:

3x-2y=3

-2x+2y=2

x=5

Now we substitute this value to give us:

3(5)-2y=3

15-2y=3

-12=-2y

y=6
You can substitute both these values in equation 2 to see if it works:

-x+y=1

-(5)+6=1 ✅
