That AAB that event that randomly selected RSC student has an associated art student and PAA equals 0.39. let the event PM be the event that a randomly selected arrest student is on the pre med degree track and PPM equals 0 to 6 point finally the probability that a randomly selected area student is an AA degree seeker and on the premium degree track in 0.05 used this information to calculate the following probability

we are asked to determine the probability of one or another event happening. This can be calculated with "Or" rule for probability, that is:

P(\text{AorB)}=P(A)+P(B)-P(\text{AandB)}

Replacing for AA and PM probabilities we get:

P(\text{ AAorPM)=P(AA)+P(PM)}

Replacing the probabilities:

P(\text{ AAorPM)=}0.39+0.26-0.05

Solving the operations:

P(\text{ AAorPM)=}0.6

Therefore, the probability is 0.6.
