find the zero of f (x) = x³-5x²-x+5 by factoring

A) x= -1,1

B) x= -2,2,5

C) x= -1,1,5

D) x= -1,1,3

we have

f(x) = x³-5x²-x+5

using a graphing tool

the zeros of the function are

x=-1, x=1 and x=5

so

f(x)=(x+1)(x-1)(x-5)

therefore

The answer is the option C
