A plane has an airspeed of 120 km divided by h It is flying on a bearing of 71

degrees while there is a 26 km divided by h wind out of the northeast​ (bearing 225 degrees) .What are the ground speed and the bearing of the​ plane?

Explanation:

Ground speed of aircraft is obtained b the sum of aircraft speed minus the current speed and direction.

For this the given formula is

81-27 cos (255 - 81 )

53.704 km/h

27 sin ( 225 - 81 ) = 2.822 km /h

so ground speed =

= 61.67 km /h
