Answer:

The speed of the first bicyclist = x + 5 = 15 + 5 = 20 mph

The speed of the second bicyclist = x = 15 mph

Explanation:

2(x + 5) + 2x = 70

2x + 10 + 2x = 70

4x + 10 = 70

4x = 60

X = 15

First bicyclist rides at a speed of 20 mph

Second bicyclist rides at a speed of 15 mph.
