We can write the function f(x) like this:

f(x)=-2x(x-4)(x-8)=-2x^3+24x^2-64x

notice that f(x) is a polynomial function, therefore, the domain of f(x) is all real numbers. Using interval notation this would be:

(-\infty,\infty)
