Footballs and miles
We know
1 mile = 63,360 in
10 in = 1 football
Then, "how many footballs would it take to make a mile?" is the same as asking "how many footballs would it take to make 63360 in?"
In order to find the answer we just divide
![(63,360)/(10)=6,336](https://img.qammunity.org/2023/formulas/mathematics/college/bh5c7y2vsv5sm0qevzwe4gm2nzm2z0fgx5.png)
Then it takes 6,336 footballs to make a miles laid end to end
