Given:

The volume of a cone = 3769 inches³

The height of the cone = 16 inches.

To find- the radius of the cone.

Explanation-

The volume of a cone is given by-

Volume=\pi r^2(h)/(3)

where r is the radius and h is the height of the cone.

Substitute the values, and we get

3768=3.14* r^2*(16)/(3)

The value of r will become-

\begin{gathered} r^2=(3768)/(3.14)*(3)/(16) \\ r^2=(942)/(3.14)*(3)/(4) \\ r^2=(471)/(3.14)*(3)/(2) \end{gathered}

On further solving, we get

\begin{gathered} r^2=150*(3)/(2) \\ r^2=75*3 \\ r^2=5*5*3*3 \\ r=5*3 \\ r=15 \end{gathered}
