Hello there. To solve this question, we'll have to create an equation.

We can use the operations Multiplication and Division, that are inverse to each other and meet the other criteria easily in the following equation:

x+1=4\cdot(x-1)

It does contain x on both sides of the equation, has a multiplication in front of the parentheses and has to be solved using division.

It goes like this:

\begin{gathered} x+1=4x+4\text{ (Multiplication)} \\ x-4x=4-1 \\ -3x=3\text{ (Division)} \\ x=-1 \end{gathered}
