4x-7(2-x)=3x+2

First, apply distributive property to solve the parenthesis:

4x-7(2)-7(-x)=3x+2
4x-14+7x=3x+2

Combine like terms:

-14+11x=3x+2
11x-3x=2+14
8x=16

Divide both sides by 8:

(8x)/(8)=(16)/(8)
x=\text{ 2}
