hello

to solve this question, we just need to use the formula of distance between two points

d=\sqrt[]{(x_2-x_1)^2+(y_2-y_1)^2}

the points given are (-6, -2) and (0, -1)

x1 = -6

y1 = -2

x2 = 0

y2 = -1

now, let's plug in the value into the equation.

\begin{gathered} d=\sqrt[]{(0--6)^2+(-1--2)^2} \\ d=\sqrt[]{6^2+1^2} \\ d=\sqrt[]{36+1} \\ d=\sqrt[]{37} \\ d=6.082 \end{gathered}
