The general rule for a translation is:

P(x,y)\rightarrow P^(\prime)(x+a,y+b)

In the given point (5,7), the x coordinate decrease by 6 and y coordinate increrase by 1:

\begin{gathered} \P(5,7)\rightarrow P^(\prime)(5-6,7+1) \\ \P(5,7)\rightarrow P^(\prime)(-1,8) \end{gathered}Then the image of the given point is (-1,8)
