We can use the next formula

K=(1)/(2)mv^2

where K is the kinetic energy, m is the mass and v the velocity.

We have the next data

m=3kg

v=2m/s

We substitute

K=(1)/(2)(3)(2)^2=6J

ANSWER

The kinetic energy is 6J
