Given Data:

The diameter of the full circle is: d = 4.6 in

The expression to calculate the area of a quarter circle is,

A=(\pi* d^2)/(16)

Substitute values in the above expression.

\begin{gathered} A=(\pi*4.6^2)/(16) \\ =(3.14*21.16)/(16) \\ =(66.4424)/(16) \\ A\approx4.15in^2 \end{gathered}

Thus, the area of a quater circle is 4.15 sq inch.
