The Solution.

The Rule is:

Subtract 8 to get the next term, and then add 4 to get the next term, and keep repeating this process.

So, the next three terms are:

\begin{gathered} 20-8=12 \\ \text{The first is 12} \end{gathered}

The next term will be:

\begin{gathered} 12+4=16 \\ \text{The second term is 16} \end{gathered}

The next term will be:

\begin{gathered} 16-8=8 \\ \text{The third term is 8} \end{gathered}

Hence, the next three terms are 12, 16, and 8.
