From the number line shown, the order of number from left to right is -6, 3 and 5

1. Compare -6 and 3,

Since -6 is to the left of 3, -6 is less than 3 and the inequality will be :

-6 < 3

2. Compare 3 and 5.

3 is less than 5 so the inequality will be :

3 < 5

3. Compare -6, 3 and 5

-6 is less than 3 and 3 is less than 5, the inequality will be :

-6 < 3 < 5
