Are semilunar valves also bicuspid valve?Describe the role of semilunar valves in the cardiac cycle.

No, semilunar valves are not bicuspid valves.

There are two types of semilunar valves namely-

0. Pulmonary semilunar valves-Present between right ventricle and pulmonary trunk.

1. Aortic semilunar valves-Present between left ventricle and aorta.

Bicuspid valve-Present between left atrium and left ventricle.

Function-This valve allow the free and forward flow of blood but prevent any backflow of blood.
